The two alphas are very different, as Marco is bold and clever, while Harper is shy and sly. However, just like how Amelia and Greely like each other, the two match...
Their Date
by Amy Jiao
Harper liked Marco ever since he appeared on the beach, which said a lot, since he had been an alpha for two months now. She would start flirting whenever he walked into sight, which must've made him think she was always obnoxious, since he started to ignore her. Amelia told her not to worry, since Greely did the same to her, but Harper wasn't so sure. She was a quiet alpha, one who hated smalltalk and often stole one of Cosmo's books just to research frost flowers and even tricked Graham into giving her a woodchopper, which she used to chop an ice sculpture so good that Mira gave her a merit ribbon. All the girl alphas except for Ruby had the ability of charmspeak, and Harper was no exception. She even convinced a phantom to give her a map of the new phantom base(Marco had destroyed their first one) to foil their new plan to keep Peck hostage. Now, her biggest worry was attracting Marco.
"Yoo-hoo!" she shouted to Marco. He turned."Do you want to see The Avengers tonight in the cienma?"
"Sure."he said. Harper squealed with delight. Marco raised an eyebrow, but waddled to see Otto for some parchment. She went back to her room, and told her mom she needed some gems.
"Okay, Harper."she said, and pressed her flipper against a panel. It scanned her paw, then opened a glove compartment for a pouch of a hundred gems.
"What is it for, anyway?"her mom asked her as she went to Marco's room to deposit fifty gems into his piggy bank and leave a note telling him what it was for."Marco and I are going to see Avengers."she said.
"What is it rated?""PG-13.""Fine, since you're sixteen. Next time, couldn't you just watch Brave, Wreck-it-Ralph, or Rise Of the Guardians?""Mom!"Harper sighed, then went into the bathroom and styled her fur.
That night, the two went into the movie theater and reserved two front-row tickets for Avengers.
"Well, it is Couple Friday."the ratty old lion in the booth said, and gave them a coupon on popcorn. They spent it. Marco chose a large, blue towel to lie on, and they waited for the ads for the Medical Center (the alphas did all their dating before they returned to Jamaa after three years of fading away), Club Geoz and the Shiveer Shoppe before the movie started. Midway through, their flippers touched.
"That's my popcorn!"Marco growled.
"Mine!"Harper shot back. Just as they started to wrestle like Captain America and Hulk, Harper brought Marco in for a kiss square on the beak. Love sparked, and they watched the rest of the movie while gawking at each other.

Marco and the Phantoms
Marco is a steely figure, one with pride. However, he wasn't always a proud figure, and died defending Jamaa...
Marco and the Phantoms
by Amy Jiao
Prolouge
The phantoms met under the volcano, with the phantom rulers awaiting them. They knelt at their dark thrones, then rose."We have failed many grand times to destroy Jamaa,"the phantom king said once they all were silent.
"We may have been defeated, but since then, many Jammers have thought foul thoughts, and created more of us, so now we have enough to destroy a legion."the phantom queen added. The phantoms all nodded."We'll overcome the alphas, and launch the phantoms from the volcano!WE SHALLTH DESTROY THE FOUL LAND OF JAMAA!!"Everyone took up the rant, and the lava streaming down the walls brightened.
"Now, gather around me for the plan..."the phantom king said...
Chapter One
Marco, the rockhopper, walked along the beach, observing crabs and sea slugs. He had a knack for talking to Twolegs, yet there were none in this new land his ship had came to, where it had sunk running into some tidepools. He ate some sardines, then floated the dead man's float in the cold water. Cold? He had sworn that a second ago that the water was warm, but now a chill ran along his spine. Marco looked down, and saw some black kelp wafting toward him, only that it had one, cold eye. He reached out to touch it. Squishy, as if it were living tears.
"Nar! Don't touch me!"the kelp exclaimed, and electrocuted him. Yelping, he ran onto the beach, bumping into a grey heron, only that the heron wasn't solid. Marco ran right through her, and she yelped, dropping her coffee.
"What's wrong with you!"she angrily cried, then read his thoughts. Her voice tapped into his mind, and Marco took down his barriers sleepily. She scoured his recent memories, then frowned. "You saw a phantom."she said.
"Phan-what?"he said, cocking his head.
"Phantom!"she exclaimed."Holy Zios, does this Jammer know ANYTHING?!? Anyway, my name is Mira, and we have a crisis."
Chapter Two
Marco wanted explanations, but Mira just placed them in his mind, and he nodded."We have to gather the Alphas."he said.
"Good thinking, Marco."Mira said. Marco had no idea how she knew his name, but again, she scoured his memories. He had no idea what he had gotten himself into, but he wanted to defend Jamaa with his life now.
"We're here, Lord Mira."mysterious voices said from behind Marco. He turned, and saw various animals kneeling behind him, such as a panda, a tiger, and a fox. "Rise, my dear Alphas."Mira said.
They rose."We will get everyone inside the golden ring now, to make sure nobody gets hurt. The phantoms are rising to battle again. Are you sure being binded to your statue won't make you less able?"the alphas said.
Mira smiled."No, as long as you fight for me.Now, we must prepare."
Chapter Three
The phantoms struck from the sea, but the alphas managed to keep them at bay. Then, Mira listened carefully, and frowned."The screams are coming from the temple."she muttered.
Marco listened, and he heard it too."Alphas, we must move to the temple!"he shouted.
Lisa glared at him."Are you kidding, Mira and Marco?!Any less effort, and the sea phantoms will overrun us!"she shouted."Go see what is going on!"Mira flapped her wings reluctantly, and they were in the ruins of Zios's temple. Marco could tell that it once had been grand, but now it was sheer ruins. Only the Temple of Trivia, one of Zios's aspects, was renovated, and even that was in ruins. The chamber of Knowledge sat over a river, and a pit with sparks coming out of it was in the center. Zios's grave.
"AAAAH!"a small bunny screamed as she ran from her stalker, a flaming phantom. Those were her last words as it tackled her, and ate the body.Mira flapped her wings, but nothing happened. The phantoms had too much chaos energy going for peace to overcome it.Mira blasted the phantoms, but more kept coming."FALLING PHANTOMS!"a little wolf pup squealed.Mira whisked her into the gold ring before a small phantom could kill her.Marco directed all the animals into the golden ring with Mira's help, yet many helpless Jammers lay dead on the ground.Mira didn't have much more time until she was whisked back into her statue, and they still had work to do. They worked, and eventually went back to the beach after all the Jammers were safe.
Chapter Four
More sea phantoms kept coming out of the sea, and the alphas were tiring. When Mira told them what was happening, they paled.
"We have to evacuate Jamaa."Harper whispered in disbelief."Not even the golden ring can save us now."Marco was sad, since he had just set paw on this land.
"Not yet!"he cried. The alphas were shocked. They looked at him in disbelief."I know what we can do!"
"I'll join him."Greely growled under his breath as he ate a phantom(ew, but he consumed phantoms for their protein levels)Mira replaced him, and they summoned all the water they could from the ocean. For some reason Marco was good at summoning water, much to Greely's shock. Dashing up to the volcano, they dumped the water into the volcano. The lava steamed as phantoms were cooked, and the phantom king cried out in agony and disbelief.
"Run!"he shouted, and they had just enough time to run into the circle of golden paint with the alphas when the volcano went KA-BOOM. Water and lava covered Jamaa, preserving the bodies of those who died. Marco and the Alphas went to Mira in the lava-caked forest.
"What will we do?"they cried."We have nowhere to live!"Mira flapped her wings, and Jamaa was back to normal. Marco didn't realize how tired he was, until he fell to the ground, the icy grip of death gripping him.
Chapter Five
He awoke as a spirit, lying in a bed of comfy wool. There was sand all around him, and plastic phantom pinatas hung from the ceiling, apparently coming from a volcano painted on the wallpaper. Tables near him showed battle plans for different phantom species and other specters of the phantom rulers strewn about.Marco hopped out of bed, and Lisa the panda alpha, Mira and a spirit of a floating mask appeared in the doorway. Lisa's eyes widened.
"You're awake!"She bear-hugged him, and he blushed.
"Where am I?"he asked her. She withdrew.
"You are in the alpha hut, in your bedroom."Mira said.
"I am Zios, and I will be your mentor."Zios said."You deserve it, otherwise Jamaa would've been buried for many millenia." Marco was flustered, and followed the floating mask out into Jamaa, to see the land of the Jamaasians.

The Shamen into Alphas
As we all know from my last post, the Shamen had heard Kindear's message. Now, this is a short story about their transition from shamen to Alphas...
Transformation
~adapted from Snowyclaw's storybook~
The shamen walked through the empty township at midnight, the crisp autumn air wrapping around their paws. Lisa's cane lit up, and guided the shamen toward the shrine. Not so long ago, the shamen and a few strong Jammers built Mira this shrine, and placed a pedestal for her to watch the Jammers from, and punish scammers. As they entered, the shrine suddenly lit up as the fireflie lanterns lit. The ceiling was turquoise glass, streaming moonlight in,and tailored by Greely(he can bend any matter to his will),with incantations to protect all of his work, although Sir Gilbert would eventually destroy it on Summer Solstice(Greely used dark magic, that's when his spells are weakest) destroying Zios. The trees outside complimented the turquiose of the glass, and all the columns were intact. A bronze brazier full of Greek Fire sat on the pedestal, and suddenly BOOM, Mira replaced the brazier, and yawned. "Nice night, isn't it?"
Mira's voice was like the chorus of a thousand songbirds, some which shouldn't have fit together. Her feathers glimmered in the moonlight, making the shamen feel at peace. The green gem in Jamaa Township was a symbol of her, and depending on the Jamaasian's moods she would have a different glimmer. Tonight, she had the glimmer of sweet dreams, which was pink.
"I called you in your dreams, because some Jammers are turning over to the...evil forces because they are offended by the name Shaman, as Shamanism is a bad thing in many worlds. I have gathered you all to change your personailities to Alphas, as this will exchange spirits between bodies. However, you can still call on your original formes in battle."
Before the alphas could say anything, Mira flapped her wings, and they started their morph, although much longer and much, much more painful than a normal Jammer's.Green light bathed them, and the Shamen could actually feel their bodies change. The old wither of age drained away, and their eyes changed to be sharper, like a kestrel's or a gyrfalcon's. Their spirit balled up into a green ball of light, and a green spiral of light, the new body's first form, was below them. Pain shot up all the alpha's bodies, and they were near the end of their prime now, although immortaility kept them there. Graham's eyes twinkled now, and his face paint was clearer, although his Einstein hair still remained, a pet peeve for Peck, someone who insisted on good looks all the time. His goggles were refined, and he was more intrested in gems now, and no longer small machinery parts, although he still made odd contraptions.'
As for Greely, as his urge to observe a diamond was replaced with desire to draw a battle map, he felt good. The monocle of ruby was gone, but his chains and armor were still intact, as ways to control the dark magic inside him. Greely now had a rivalry with Sir Gilbert, even though he loved him before. He created a Grendel, and destroyed it with a single word.
Cosmo felt much younger, and had good instincts for the plants around him. All his clothes except for his cap and cane were gone, but otherwise not much was different to him.(Will be updated as of Janurary 4th.)
Peck had more femine eyes now, and her clothes were much more comfy. She had a slightly less rebellinous spirit, yet she had a desire to make some outrageous project like paint Jamaa orange(long story, more on that in Peck's Mural)
Sir Gilbert felt better, although his assorted merit badges were gone. Gone. At least they were under his cape...sigh. He had a curiousity burning inside him now, and his original form would've been dissipointed to see him like this...
Finally, Lisa felt good. Her cane was brighter, she had more stylish robes, and she was more...snazzy.
She loved style, and finally she could lead the alphas successfully. She was finally a beautiful leader.

The Message
As mentioned earlier, the Alphas have heard of a message saying that a hero would rise to revive Mira and Zios (one's impossible, the other is impossibly impossibly impossible), and bring the final fall of the phantoms. Here is what happened back when the Alphas were in their true forms, the Shamen...
The Message
By Amy Jiao
Chapter One
The wind whistled in the hollows as the Shamen headed toward the illusion room of an observatory, admiring their busts and various artifacts. This was the very begining of time, as the Shamen changed into Alphas just after the first animals of Jamaa came. Jamaa's only Oracle, Kindear, awaited them near the telescopes. Green mist surrounded her, ominous as always.
“ Turn back..."Kindear said. "The message you will hear now is dangerous." Reckless as always, Sir Gilbert answered for the rest of the Shamen.
"We shall hear your message, as we were all told that it would shape Jamaa's future."
"Very well.I shall tap into the anceint, cosmic powers and hear the message."Kindear's voice was now tripled, as if three mysterious voices spoke, because she had said the other statements freely, and from experience. The glowing eyes of Kindear closed, and the runoff of green mist abruptly stopped from her penguiny eyes. Instead, blue energy so powerful it shut down all other magical devices/substances came from her back, and leeched onto a telescope.
"Crap,"Peck snarled as she tried to paint a picture into existence, to no avail.
Chapter Two
The shamen watched helplessly as the telescope tilted, as if craning it's body to look at the stars, and fired blue energy. The energy went through the glass, past the clouds and a few angry birds, and even some birdcages Greely had accidentially cast into space. After what seemed like eternity, the blue energy returned to Kindear's body, and her creepy eyes opened again, making the shamen flinch. Smoke began curling off her feathers, and since even Cosmo was paralyzed, they watched Kindear die as she spoke her final message, as Jamaasian oracles speak a big prophecy/message, and they die. It is a dangerous buisness, sure, but before their death they are showered with benefits. Kindear spoke in the voice of all cosmic powers, Zios. Even at that time, he was always distant, creating other lands such as Ook.
"You shall slay a god, and create the worst creatures of the eons, and be pitied. However, in the end you'll play a part."she said to Sir Gilbert.
Kindear turned to Cosmo."Candies and plants galore, you are the sweetest grandfather any Koala can recieve, but your bitter concotions will kill the one who will save your life."
Cosmo looked frightened at the prospect. Kindear ignored his terrified look, and turned to Greely. "You will have a family, but they will die and you take the blame. Dark magic will draw a spouse, though, and one from a line of Keepers, those who keep the Spirit Stones. Eventually, your destiny will save us all."\
He didn't look suprised. In fact, Greely was always emotionless. Kindear turned to Peck.
"Your fate isn't terrible, Peck. Creating a wonderful sculpture only to get it washed away, you will learn a life lesson, but your faithful weapons will fail you in a time of great need, and bringth the death of yourself. However, this is nothing compared to Lisa's fate."
Peck looked frightened, and fell on a candle. Kindear turned to Graham. "I see not much fate in you, elder, as you will become young once more soon. You shall make a plan that will save many lives, although you will die painfully."she mumbled.
Graham just fiddled with his little gears nervously. Kindear turned to Lisa." You are a trueborn leader, Lisa, but your kin's numbers are declining. An artist beyond artists shall weave a destiny bond with a hero, and therefore you die a painful death together. You shall change once, then another time, and herby avenge a fox's death."
Lisa looked agonized. Kindear paused, then started the final message.
Chapter Three
"This is a time of need, as Jamaa is in need of new Jammers, but it is a small problem compared to what you will face many years from now. Mira will die creating the beasts of the eons, and Zios by the paw of a Shaman. Then, as the evils rule and modernize the land, a hero would rise, revive both deities, and destroy the evil once and for all, with your help. However, many sacrifices will be made..."Kindear stopped, returned to normal, and let out a strangled yelp.
Now, the Shaman devices worked, but no dose of magic could save Kindear. Only ashes sat where she had been, and she had left the shamen very, very uncomfertable.
The End of the Beginning...

Cosmo's Candies
Cosmo is a herbologist, yet he likes cooking. Here is a tale about his candy shop in the Township, hidden inside Club Geoz...
Cosmo's Candies
by Amy Jiao
Chapter One
"Stop munching on the plate!" Lisa scolded Cosmo as he dug into his enchiladas. He was a big eater, which Peck disliked since she had to go forage more, as Cosmo was a vegan, someone who eats only vegtables. Since today was the monthly Organic Plate day for the alphas, he anticipated eating the plate. On normal days, he would barely chew on the plate since they used weird chemicals to make them. "Butt Id likke platez."he mumbled, cornering the enchiladas on the last bit of his plate. Greely looked away in disgust as specks of grain plate stained his armor. "Why do you even WEAR armor to the dinner table?" Peck asked him, the brat she was every day. Greely growled. "Because you think your fork will attack you?"Greely snarled now."Because I can't have his messy eating ruining my fur!"He pointed a claw at Cosmo. "Well, then take a shower!" Cosmo was offended, but he didn't have time to acknowledge the fact. Greely pounced, and nailed a screaming Peck. She punched him, and he howled in pain. However, before more alphas could join in, Lisa broke them up. "Woah."she told them. "Stop that, dinner is over now." Harper went back , grumbling that she needed to fish now. Cosmo sadly took the plate to his room.
Chapter Two
Cosmo worked madly at his chemistry set. He had to get the recipe for chocolate Miras, he had to! He molded a chocolate brick into a stunted grey heron shape, and tried to smooth out the edges before pouring caramel filling through a hole in her back. He tried the chocolate."Yuck!" he cried, and spit it into a trash can. Now, he did the same thing, except for the fact that he put in nuts and molded Mira around the nuts. Better. He tried to make other candies, such as Mars Bars that took you to Mars and some caramel Zios masks you could wear, but most failed. He sighed, and went to bed.
Chapter Three
"Can I purchase some land for my private candy shop?" Cosmo asked the owner of Club Geoz, Willy "Funhouse" Djclaw. "Sure, that'll cost 30,000 gems." Willy said. "Opening a party shop?" "No, a candy shop, Mr. Djclaw."Cosmo replied. Willy's slitted eyes lit up, if a snake's eyes can light up."Fabulous!" he said. "I'll take your payment." As Cosmo gave him the pouch of gems, his eyes went into a slit mode."Say, don't you look like that koala alpha Cosmo..."he muttered. "Oh! Uh... My mother named me after Cosmo and tried to make me look like him!" he stammered. "Now, that's a weird mother. You look exactly like him."Willy hissed. So much for the "funhouse" title. "Uh... Gotta dash to open it!"Willy sighed, and went back to overseeing his party.
Chapter Four
Cosmo slammed the door shut, and breathed a sigh of relief. The old candy shop Willy had closed down many years ago was super stinky, and dead spiders decorated the floor. Cosmo didn't want to arouse suspicion by using magic, but otherwise it would take him a month and another 30,000 gems to renovate the shop. "Cleanamus, runeamus!" he whispered. Vines grew from the ceiling, and a few koalas climbed up a tree."Nope. Clearanus, runeamus!"he said. The vines and tree retracted, and magical dusters, vacuums and brooms cleaned the place up.He placed some jars of his candies on the counter, a cash register, more candies in the glass display cases, a free samples bowl, and a small candy machine, then some gumball machines and plants, and little decorations and a few arcade games. "I'm ready!" he yelled to Willy. The door opened, and Willy gasped, since the room had ben renovated in a record of 30 minutes."The grand opening will be soon."he squeaked.
Chapter Five
Soon, small ones started to arrive, and even Mira herself attended, using her spirit to attend. She signed autographs and told everyone how she was asleep inside her statue, waiting for a hero to awaken her. The little ones and even some teens squealed with excitement when they thought that they could be the hero, but the adults looked more panicked. "What will we do without you!" they cried. "We are being modernized by our new leader!"Mira looked shocked. "Modernized!"she exclaimed."My hero must come quickly, lest all the legends be destroyed."Cosmo sighed, since a prophecy said that a hero would come, revive Mira and Zios, destroying the phantoms. That was far-fetched right now because of the modernization, but prophecy demands the hero come next year. After she shared some myths, she got out some scissors. Slowly, the blades came toward the red ribbon...slowly...SNIP! All the little ones rushed in to get their candy.Cosmo had to keep brewing more candy to keep up with the demand for chocolate Miras, flying suckers, and moonrocks. Anyone who ate his chocolate Miras strengthened Mira(Cosmo noticed that, so he labeled the Miras 50% off so that she might bust out of her statue by herself), the flying suckers gave the eater the ability to fly, and moonrocks ported you to the moon. When it was time to close up shop, Cosmo grinned. He could now eat candy without any probelms with Willy Hersheya.

Sir Gilbert and the Armor
There is a mysterious set of armor in the Chamber Of Knowledge...one that has seen the first phantom war. Here is a short story about it...
Gilbert's Armor
by Amy Jiao
"Come on!" Sir Gilbert groaned as Graham sawed away at the metal. His goggles were on, and his hair was covered with soot after he recently crafted some tweezers for Cosmo. Sir Gilbert was impatient to get back in the fight, since the phantoms were coming at top speed. Zios was dead, and Jammers were dying by the thousands.Graham finished, and painted some golden streaks on it."Here ya go!" he said cheerfully. Sir Gilbert growled thanks, and slid it on. It fit perfectly, even some dents in the breastplate for his merit badges. He donned his claws, and clawed the phantoms down.
Now, the armor was the only thing stopping the dark energy of the Phantom King from tearing him apart as the alphas tore the king apart. As they broke the last seam, the phantom exploded, and they stood on Jamaa's heavenly ground, all of Jamaa thanking them for their bravery.

The Lost Stone
In stores, there are two inactive sprit stones of a ram, although one represents a human giving life and the other the ram spirit stone. The stone is the only stone the phantoms managed to deactivate, so it is on display now. Here is the short story of Lisa finding it...
Lisa's Stone
Lisa was searching for the lost Ram spirit stone, and happened to stumble upon Mount Shiveer. She created the Cocoa hut with Graham's help, then opened the mountain up for Jammers so that she could explore while her Jammers explored. She let Mira carry her up to the peak, then gasped. Under some ram's pelt, she found the stone! However, no ram spirits came out of it, which was dissapointing. "Mira, why...?"she asked Mira. Mira shook her head."It can't be."she murmured."Somehow, the phantoms deactivated the stone, and yet we didn't know..."Then, she tossed aside the now useless stone and found a cane with the exact same stone on it. A large coral stick supported it, and it was twoleg crafted. She could sense the crafter had given his/her life for it, and wept. No living creature deserved to die, not even a Twoleg. Mira comforted her, and they flew down quickly, for no Jammer had a cloak yet. They sewed and sewed, then finally let the cloaks be sold. Lisa put the stone near the fireplace to remember the rams, and walked down to the current clothing store with summer clothing to hide the cane. As for the mountain, a guide was hung there to tell the tale of why a magical border blocks Jammers from the peak.

Captain Melville
Captain Melville's juice hut is the biggest mystery in Jamaa, as AJHQ never even mentioned his name, probably not even in Beta. I have searched the alpha's logs just in case they knew him, and found many entries about this sailor. For one thing, he is one of the many sons of Sir Gilbert(he's the best looking male alpha), but instead of following the path of a warrior, he followed the path of a sailor. Here's his first expedition explaining other mysteries in the Chamber Of Knowledge and Kani Cove...
Captain Melville and the Phantom Jewels
by Amy Jiao
Chapter One
"Arrrrr!" he shouted to Gilbert. "Don't kill me, sir!" his dad whimpered like a poor little sailor.Captain Melville had a plum cape, a paper sailor hat, and elf-crafted anklets. He and his dad loved playing Pirate, especially since pirates had been raiding the coast recently. They had so much fun, and it helped both of Gilbert's primary traits: curiousity and brawn. Melville loved his mom, Aruwada, but they were poor and Gilbert rich. Besides, an alpha cannot stay with his family for long, since he needed to go questing. Melville played with Dad all the time now because of that, but it wouldn't be enough.
Chapter Two
"Dad!"Melville was despearte to keep up with his father, but he was running away from their shack, heading toward the alpha hut. Sir Gilbert ignored him."DAD!"Sir Gilbert turned, but his face wasn't laughing after playing tag. It was serious, and Melville had seen that look only once:he was doing something important."Mira has entered my dreams, the pirates are phantoms!"he growled."I must join the alphas to fight. You'll be my apprentice after this, I promise!" Tears welled up in Melville's eyes. He had listened to Aruwuda's tales of phantoms, and they were globs of evil tears with a cyclops style eye, electric pouches along their skin, and varying amounts of legs. He stopped chasing Dad, and let himself eat dust as he went back to Aruwuda.
Chapter Three
" Juice the fruits carefully." Aruwuda advised him. "They will need to pour into the canteens, then be shaken around for best flavor, and tastetested. The flavor depends on what fruits you juice and in what order, what sort of grip, and how long you shake it."Since Melville had turned down Dad's offer to become a warrior, he decided to be a sailor. Sir Gilbert actually congragulated him, since he would become a warrior just fighting pirates."Besides,"Gilbert had said,"your claws are perfect for juicing exotic fruits and analyzing treasure, not bloodshed."Melville had felt proud, but juicing wasn't child's play. As Aruwuda was teaching him, these sort of arts are something only a true juicer can master. He juiced dragon fruit, papaya, grape, strawberry, and even some cantelopes to make some healthy juice."You will be ready soon."Aruwuda consoled him."Get ready for the biggest adventure you've ever had."
Chapter Four
He now built his hut, ignoring the beach babes trying out his juice and begging for more.Melville dug a ditch for tsunami water to go into in case of a tsnaumi, then built support beams and a floor.Nails and blunted hammers came and went, sacrificing their sanity to help him build a frame. He nailed the boards in to make proper walls, then went to the valley to get a proper roof and sod from the temple. He even placed some lavender and dried cocoa beans in the grass and mud to make the hut smell better, and feathers to prevent mud from dripping in a storm. Finally, he made the door and shut it."Home sweet home."he said, and plopped onto a towel. When he awoke, he realized that his home was empty, with nothing but a few fruits in baskets hanging from the ceiling and his towel."I'd better get to work."He sawed down a palm tree to make a desk, then got some scrap metal and fruit and cups to make a juicer. He went to the store, bought a Claw machine, some concert equipment, and a chalkboard, then got an electrician to make outlets for his stage, Claw and juice machines.Melville soon had a neat hut, and hired a band to sing for his club.
Chapter Five
Everyone piled in to dance in his club, and he happily served drinks. For nightime, he even hung some firefly lanterns to light the club. Soon, everyone enjoyed his club. Soon, it became so popular that the alphas came! Sir Gilbert was very proud of him, and suggested he build his own bedroom and an outhouse, hire Sir Gilbert himself to serve the drinks and sail away on a ship for a while. Melville was happy to do what he was told. But before he left, Melville scribbled some recipes for the favorite juices and smoothies the customers liked, and a few that special customers liked. Then, he started building his own boat, with Graham's and Harper's help.He built cannons, hired crew, weaved hammocks, crafted a steering wheel and sails, then finally got supplies on board. Even Lisa decided to fund the project, as he was going to take back the loot the pirates took from sailors. As the ship slid into the sea after Graham built a contraption to slide it into the sea, Sir Gilbert and all of Jamaa waved goodbye.
Chapter Six
Melville steered the ship northeast of Crystal Sands, to where Kani Cove is now. There, the phantoms counted their loot, a phantom stamped on their boat. Then, the captain noticed them, which was weird since he had an eyepatch over his only eye."Arrr!"the phantom growled."Get the cannons ready!" Melville repeated the cry, without the "arrring".The cannons faced each other, and there was silence except for the two crews getting ready for war. Then, the pirates fired the first shot into the air."Fire!" Melville shouted. The cannons fired, and his crew quickly drank his banana smoothies in their canteens as the phantom ship exploded in several places. Then the pirates fired, and a few fires started on board. "Fire!"the two captains shouted at the same time, and most of the cannonballs blocked each other. However, a few got to the pirates, and their ship started sinking."Thar she sinks!"the captain shouted, and the phantoms flew away, throwing their loot at them.It rained gold doubloons and treasure chests full of jewels as they retrieved the loot. Everyone cheered, and set sail for Jamaa.
Chapter Seven
When they arrived, everyone treated them like heroes, and hid most of the treasure inside the alpha's hut. However, the gems were hidden in the temple, and were polished every day by Cosmo. But since Melville was getting too famous, he decided to be anonymous, and hid away. The band no longer came after that, and the juice machines are rusty, but once in a while some Jammers try to get him to show by dancing in his juice hut... And what happened to the phantom ship? It is now in Kani Cove, transformed by Harper into a store...

The Golden Ring
As many of you may know, this ring surrounds the busts of the alphas and a few other artifacts. Why is it there? Who created it? And who protected this land from Twolegs? You are about to find out...
The Golden Ring
by Amy Jiao
Chapter One
Peck painted the floor golden, and carved small pictures of phantoms and various spells on the ring. She labeled it with incantations to keep phantoms away from the artifacts, and even a few reenforcements. If they would survive the Twoleg invasion, they would have to hide their artifacts and their people in there. She quickly scribbled some Twoleg protection spells on the ring, but that would mean monkeys would need magical permisson to enter, as their DNA structure was similar to a Twoleg's.Peck started the busts of all the alphas.
Chapter Two
They gathered all the animals and put them in groups with their alphas within the ring, although the monkeys needed permission to enter. The lions and leopards were grouped with Sir Gilbert, for they had no alpha, and the Arctic wolves stayed with Greely, making his group have to squish the others. Fortunatley, Jamaa was small at that time, so everyone fit in. Then the Twolegs came."This is a very good land to plunder, Chuck."one growled. The bunnies whimpered. The twoleg that should be Chuck growled back."Yes, millions of jewels have been stashed in the temple! We'll be RICH!" Even the lions were whimpering now, but the alphas shushed them. Then the twolegs noticed them. "Hey, we have some wild guests here!" the first twoleg chuckled."Yes, Bart, we'll get another load of money just to skin the lions!""Hee, hee."Peck giggled. " A twoleg named Fart. Hee ha hee ha."Lisa tried to shush her, but it was too late. Bart's face turned beet red. "A talking bunny insults me, even when she's wearing ear socks and I have a gun?!?"he cried. "I'll kill you!" He took out the black stick he called a "gun", and fired a small seed from it. But the alphas knew what seed it was. It was a bullet seed, one non native to Jamaa, and it hurt, as Lisa had found out before. Ouch.
Chapter Three
The bullet bounced off the barrier harmlessly, and Bart looked shocked. "These animals know magic!I must kill them by hand!"he snapped. Chuck was smarter, and ran. He slowly approached the ring, then ran. The barrier appeared right before he could snatch a koala, and he flew through a nearby window, falling into the stream below. Everyone cheered, but they were quickly shushed. The phantoms were invading. Luckily, none could lift the door and enter, but a few wafted in through the broken window. They disentigrated against the barrier, and Cosmo gathered the dust for potions before returning to his post. But now, they had established a new rule. No animal could leave their group and go to another, because all the alphas except for Lisa would yell. That way, it was easier to escort them outside. But as the invasion ended, Mira flew in right from the ceiling, giving a few wolves a scare. After all, she could manipulate any boundary to let her through. Mira perched on a tree the alphas had superglued to the wall so that she could admire the artifacts."Alphas, you know better than this."she said."Seperating the animals isn't a good idea, and this could've led to another feud. Lisa, my darling, why didn't you speak up?"Lisa looked ashamed. " Mother Sky, we needed to escort them out safely, or someone could enter Cosmo's lab or Brady Barr's house by accident. We also needed to keep them away from the phantom zoo next to the river."she sighed. Mira waved her wings, and everyone was where they should be now. "I'll extend the ring's power to keep the phantoms and Twolegs away."her voice whispered into everyone's ear.
Epilouge
And so, the ring's power was extended, and Peck was given a merit award for her work. However, in the process the words were smeared into squiggles, and the phantoms could still enter in October, but they were controlled by it's magic, as the original incantation had been altered by age. Mira knew that Twolegs would never enter again, but eventually the phantoms would invade. She created all those weapons in stores for Jammers to get ready for that day, and placed fences to keep phantoms out. However, rumors say that the invasion will begin next year, in 2013...

The Spears of Jamaa
The spears have been found in various places in Jamaa, but only mystery surrounds them.I have peeked in Lisa's log, and I adapted this copied manuscript from her log, as it was in diary entries and phantom runes.
The Claws of Mira
by Amy Jiao
Chapter One
The claws of Mira had fallen to the ground when she had died for Amelia, and some brave Jammers collected them. However, some became traitors and betrayed Mira, simply turning the claws over to the phantoms. The alphas were angry, and the third phantom war sparked.(I assure you, the gore in this post hasn't happened yet, it is a simple prediction a phantom oracle made. The spears, however, were transffered back in time so that the Jamaasians had a chance to win, as Jamaa was destroyed.Who knows? Maybe the war will happen, and we Jamaasians will be online to witness it...)
The following gore may be too intense, so look away before you throw up your snack...
Chapter Two
The sun had been gone for days, and everyone was worried.Mira had recently been revived from a deep sleep, but was now old and frail. The Jamaasians kept their claws of Mira and other weapons issued to them, but not all of them got proper training from the alphas.Since they were minor gods, their influence could be everywhere, but dark days had come too soon. The phantom virus had spread, and now they had only ten million fighters, unlike their ususal number of a billion.Even the robots were nervous, barely drinking any oil anymore, and they seriously were drunk on oil. The phantoms were arriving, and all the newfound death, scamming, hacking, blocking and bullying had given the phantoms new warriors. The end was near, and neither of the recently revived deities, Mira and Zios, could do much about it.
Chapter Three
Finally, after three weeks of anxiousness, the sun came back, but now it was black.Crops couldn't grow, the rivers dried up, and anyone without Greely's SPF 300,000,000 applied would die in seconds outside. The alphas went on quests frequently now to stop the phantoms from invading, but they were weakening, especially Cosmo. He had worked for years now, trying to strengthen Mira and Zios, but now they were not any help."Haaa-lllo!"Mira would shout to Zios sleepily, and Zios would reply,"The sun is quite nice today, isn't it?"and Mira would shout back"We have cookies at the Twoleg store, for only $99.99!"Cosmo had no idea where she got the last one, but the price was correct. All supplies costed a lot now,and the fact that phantoms stole away worker robots and androids every day wasn't helping. He cried out, sent out a healing wave, and faded into the spirit world.
Chapter Four
However, the wave of healing wasn't enough. Now, three days after Cosmo's death, the alphas were splattered in blood, and riding half-dead pegasi to the sun. As crazy as it seems, the sun was made of hardened phantom corspes, so it spread an ominous feeling over the land. The phantom rulers lived in there, growing stronger everytime something bad happened, or at least was thought of.There were signs everywhere about being optismistic, not pessimistic, but the sight of Mira on the billboards wasn't enough. The rulers were growing stronger. They arrived, and went through a hatch in the black sun.The pegasi dropped, dead, to the groundNo escape, no chance of winning, no chance of protecting Jamaa. The alphas trudged up the ramp to the throne room in despair. The phantom king saw them, and laughed."Your end is near, alphas. Any last words?"the queen added to his laughter."I like painting in Jamaa! We'll haunt you even in death!"Peck shouted, and Lisa glared at her.I mean, what sort of last words are those? That, only made the king laugh more, and they summoned the claws of Mira. They elongated into magical spears that always reaped the soul of the victim. Greely had made the spears long ago, but broke them for protection. Then, he had bonded the spears(now fixed)to the claws, and now they made a last stand for Jamaa with them.
Chapter Five
Blood and ichor was spilled on the ground as the two forces fought.Lisa stabbed with kung-fu accuracy, and Graham spun the spears around in wonder as he held off the goons.Amelia roared the roar of fear itself, and destroyed every phantom in the world except for the rulers. However, the effort took her spirit. She collasped, and Greely sobbed over her body.Peck doodled with the spear in midair, and her pictures came to life. A roaring lion fought the queen, killing her, but the king just rose from his throne. "Your land shall be burned to pieces!"Sir Gilbert clawed the king to pieces, but not before an arm of flame touched Jamaa, setting everything aflame. Tears welled up in the alpha's eyes as they saw the lush land of Jamaa die right before their eyes. They had failed, and they were to retreat to their native lands.
Chapter Six=Epilouge
The alphas had failed in their service, and the gods awakened to find that their land was burned to ashes, and everyone dead. Even the bots were helpless as they burned to ashes. However, with the last piece of their strength, they had released all the spirits in the spirit stones and teleported the spears back in time. Now, when the phantoms come, we fend for ourselves with the spears, and learn how to harness the claws with all the might of the alphas. Who knows? Maybe we can prevent the future end of the world...
Peck's Mural
Peck's Mural
The outrageous rabbit alpha makes many long and odd projects, like donating old ear socks to hobos (weird, but generous), and making pinatas the size of mountains(Peck used that for Mira's seven thousanth birthday), and painting Jamaa orange (now, what was that for? Making a message to aliens that our planet is shaped like an orange?).Here is a story about her most odd project yet, painting a mural of the alphas in the Coral Canyons...
By Amy Jiao
Chapter One
"This is a sane proposal?!?"Willy carpenter screeched."We ain't funding dis project!""Meanie!" Willy stood on two paws on the doorstep, laughing at her proposal to make a mural, but Peck was doing what she did best in retaliation: being a big, big brat. "It's to depict the alphas defeating the phantom king! Besides, Cosmo engineered it to become organic, so when it washes off the fish in the river have something to eat." Willy's eyes grew wide, since the fish in the canyon were carnivous, and they had to poison their DNA so that the residents in the canyon were safe. Giving them enough paint to eat for years would let them lay off on the spraying. "We'll get ready!" he yelped. Peck smiled triumphantly, as if she had annoyed her big sister. "Good. May Mira bless you." She stuck her tongue out at Willy in the firefly light as he went off. Her reasoning and charmspeak always let her have her way.
Chapter Two
Graham rolled his eyes as Peck went back to the great room, turning on "Futurama", rated PG 14.She stuffed her mouth with all the popcorn as he plopped down next to her, to make sure he didn't get any. He still ate one she dropped on the snakeskin couch, then ate the burned one and the seeds. "Seriously, you're a big bother."he grumbled as the old scientist idenified the weird mushroom."Well, it's a tribute. Don't be a grumps." She switched the HD TV off, then started up the karoke. Graham shut the cedar door behind him as he left, since Peck insisted on singing siren songs. A few of the vines on her palm wood guitar snapped as she hit the high note heaven. When her voice was tired of screaming, she stashed the karoke behind the TV. She didn't know that phantoms were pure evil, Peck thought that Mira had just given her these privledges because she was "talented." She had seen phantoms, sure, but Mira had easily disposed of them. Peck had acted profound just to fool Mira, and knew the privledges she'd get. She kind of had the gift of prophecy, at least a little bit. Her easels and paints used to show her animated scenes of the future every morning, and she saw this from miles away.In other words, it wasn't Lisa, Sir Gilbert or Greely who was the most powerful, it was Peck.(This statement has been evaluated and checked. It is partially correct, although Harper is more powerful than all the alphas combined.)Now, she headed to her easel to plan out the mural.
Chapter Three
The next day, she oversaw the painting. They locked the canyons down, and had to boot out some determined Jammers trying to break the "bridge" with magic. They even stopped aerial supervision(to the annoyance of Mira) because somebody could strap on a jetpack and blend into the crowd, the tell everyone about the mural. Since Jamaa had many various plants, Cosmo mashed a few paint roots and gave them large jars of paint, depicting Peck painting Jamaa orange.(Well, there's a weird thought, Peck, some sculptor likes helicopters flying over Jamaa and painting everyone and everything orange with a steamroller.Ow!)The mural depicted the tapestry she had weaved in the Chamber Of Knowledge(the tapestry of Mira and the phantoms), Jamaasian legends, and even all the lands of Jamaa. The mural also showed the stories of the alphas, with Otto and the other African alphas stomping Apophis, who came back as the phantom king. It even showed an animated video of the return of the alphas, with videos showing animated episodes of the alpha's quests and stories shown on Cartoon Network, and even some interviews with Mira and her sacred alphas afterward, then repeating the cycle. If you watched long enough, Mira and both Twolegs that lived here (Brady Barr and Tierney Thys) would arrive for autographs. However, Peck wanted the project to be more extravangant, so she tortured the painters all day on her throne of cacti on the bridge, even demanding they color the wolf spirit stone (there was a glitch for days afterward where new Jammers became a wolf and looked like Greely for a while.)
Chapter Four
"This is ridiculous."Lisa grumbled as they collected vases from the art studio carved into the side of the canyon. "Last time you had a 'great idea',you replaced the hospital with an arcade, dishonoring that tribute to Cosmo and sparking part of the Jamaasian movement. Thousands of protesters lined up in the township, and we were summoned after years of neglect. That would've happened anyway without insulting Cosmo. Mira must be joking."Peck stuck out her tongue at Lisa, and did a raspberry, ruining her asian cloak. Lisa grumbled as she wiped the spit off her robes with magic, draining her mana. "You're just jealous!" Peck screamed, then ran off. Lisa rolled her eyes, and went to split up an arguement between a wolf worker so hungry he wanted a bunny worker for lunch, and the victim had to feed him his lunch.Long sentence, long story. Peck got up on a ladder, then painted the final touch to her painting. Everyone cheered, and the Jammers trying to sneak in finally got a chance to see the mural. The canyon was packed as everyone looked at the performance unfolding, and Peck beamed with pride.
Chapter Five
The next day, when the ceremony was just about to end, it started to rain. Mira devised a cover to protect the screaming Jammers who didn't bring a coat, but by the time she had enough mana to cover the mural, most of it had already washed into the river as storm sewage. Peck watched all this in horror, and started sobbing right on the spot. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" she bellowed. The storm stopped, and the spotlight was on her, sobbing on stage after her mural had covered her karoke equipment and peeled off the rock."Why? Why??????"By the time she remembered she was in public, everyone was laughing. "It was supposed to peel off and feed the fish anyway, dummy!" a small bunny jeered."Bad luck that it did just when you were having a performance."Peck growled, and pointed at the bunny with a shaky paw.The poor bunny became a cactus. As Mira flew down to turn the bunny back, Sir Gilbert ran on stage and pinned her. "Peck, you have threatened our authority by making a disposable mural, then blaming us when it washed off!"he growled.Peck didn't exactly do that, but everything else was true."You will have to learn a lesson about your rank, or face a fate just like Zios's!"Everyone gasped as he mentioned the god's mysterious death in public, and whispered among themselves.Sir Gilbert knew he was trapped, so he reluctantly told the tale.
Chapter Six
Everyone was relieved that he told the truth, and waited for Peck to answer. "I-I'll never do this again."she said."Swear on Zios's mask!""I swear!"she yelped, then ran away, some ribbons falling out of her tail.Mira flew down to Sir Gilbert, and awarded him merit badges for teaching Peck a lesson without failing. All of Jamaa cheered, and all was at peace in Jamaa. You know what? There is a rumor that when quests arrive and Jamaa is re-Jamaasianized, the mural may come back and be repainted in Coral Canyons...
Seth's End
When we last heard from Seth, he was running from Minada's death, and told small Jammers about the Coraxese. He had forgotten his log, and only brought along Mira's feather, along with some of his photos of Greely. At the day where everyone knew of the Coraxese and never forgot to tell the children of Jamaa, he went into the alpha hut. "So you're back, traitor."Sir Gilbert grumbled. He went right past him. He went into his father's room, themed like the canyon he once lived in. The ceiling was starry, but Seth did not care.He stopped only to climb a cliff brought in to reach Greely's dresser. Since Greely was away on a quest to research phantoms in the valley, he wasn't stopped. Jewels, monocles and armor was strewn about the closet, along with caribou bones and carved stones from the canyon. He took some ominous armor from the closet, and clipped it onto himself. Since it was meant for a shadow, the curse set on it yanked out his soul, and he screeched in pain as it injected deadly rattlesnake venom. The souls of his mother and Minaha greeted him,and smiled as he was taken far away, the iron grip of death hosting him. He was dumped in a bright field where the heroes lived, and didn't care that his father screeched in terror when he found his body changing armor.

Shade and Seth
The loves of Greely
by Amy Jiao
Greely is an alpha that is distant from the other alphas, and he often is seen bargaining with phantoms. He isn't evil, though, and once loved two other wolves, Shade and Seth. However, he would lose both of them...
Shade
At the beginning of time, Mira and Zios created Jamaa. However, many years later a group split from the Jamaasians to form a rival culture called the Coraxese. Here is the account of Greely's affairs with the last priestess of the Coraxese...
Chapter One
The alphas had known about the Coraxese for decades now, and their false beliefs irked them, especially Lisa. They believed in a star goddess named Moon, but Mira had assured them that Moon was a fake. Yet, the Coraxese had strong beliefs, but that didn't stop them from dying out after being defeated in war. The only decesndant of the culture left was Shade, a beautiful young mortal priestess that Greely loved. "She is a decensdant of those unbelievers,"Peck would complain, but Greely still dated her. Since he was basically a minor god, since Mira had bestowed all the alphas immortailty to be her lieuteuants forever, he gave Shade many gifts, like a small dog and a necklace. She would, in turn, give him old scrolls about phantoms her ancestors left behind in their elaborate temples. Even after Mira had tried to seperate him from Shade multiple times because she knew Shade's horrible fate, they still dated, which annoyed Amelia more than anyone else. Whenever he got back, Amelia would yell at him for betraying their oath to only date each other. However, now he wasn't so distant from the other alphas, as Shade always cheered him up, and nobody found sometjing wrong with that.
Chapter Two
Two years later...
Greely and Shade now had a son, Seth. They were very happy, together, and they explored all the time. But soon, battling phantoms grew tiresome, and Shade instead taught him about Moon, which annoyed him, but he didn't speak up. Now they sat in her small cave, flipping through books of Coraxese myths."Jamaa was created when Moon rose from an egg in the sky, and sent matter down from the heavens. However, everyone has forgotten what she did, and believes in floating masks and grey herons now. Moon really created Jamaa."Greely wanted to protest, but something told him that it would ruin their relationship, so he kept quiet. Seth played with some feathers they had found on the rocks. After some silence, Greely's curiousity got the best of him. "Show me Moon's constellation."he demanded. Shade smiled. "That's not a probelm." She pointed at the stars, and he could see that the constellation was of a wolf, the same one that was named after him. "You Jamaasians named i after you, and we Coraxese named it after Moon. It'll always be a reminder of our bond." Greely tapped her, and she looked at him. Even Seth looked. "Will you always be with me?"he asked her in a gruff but soothing voice. She hesitated, then nodded. "Always."she promised. Shade had no idea that "always" wouldn't be long.
Chapter Three
The next day, Greely waited for her to come, but she didn't appear. After six hours of waiting, a blue macaw appeared, it's expression grim. "What is it?" he growled. A bloodstained letter fell out of the mail bird's bag, and it flew away. It was from Mira, and apparently it was written hastily when surveying a body. He shuddered. He clawed the envelope open, only to find bad news.
After some crying, since Shade's healthy heart was slipped in there, he read the ink. It told him(gently) about how Shade had ran into hungry phantoms while bringing a sacrifical ox to the temple of Moon, and how she had valiantly died to save the throne of Moon. Mira also said that her body would be put into the temple, and the temple taken into the sky to hide what happened.Greely bawled, and ran over to little Seth to gently tell him that his mama wolf was dead.
Seth
Ten years later...
Seth had enough of being babied by his dad, Greely, and requested apprenticeship.Greely had accepted the offer, and said that after Shade had died when he was a few months old, he protected Seth with his life. They trained relentlessly, and even did crunches, pushups and situps, the stuff you do in gyms. They even borrowed a "treadmill" that Graham owned just for training. Seth lifted weights and swam in the ocean when the sea was roughest, making his muscles rugged and handsome. However, after being hidden from the alphas because he was the offspring of a Coraxese and a Jamaasian(especially Amelia, she is still mad to this day about Shade),he was very mean.Greely and Lisa tried to give him obedience lessons, but he would make even the toughest cry when he threatened them. Eventually, they gave up. After three years of training, Seth got tired of training. "When will I be an alpha?" he would ask Greely every day,but he would ignore him.He stopped working so hard, and Greely spanked him. Seth was tired, and very unhappy. But before he could even think of turning over to the phantoms, Greely gave him a diary to write his feelings in, even though it read LOG since it was supposed to be a log filled with dark mythology. Seth loved writing in it, and would write all day. Then, he hit his teenage years. He became extra handsome, and all the supermodels would scream if they could date him. Soon, a poor wolf named Minaha knocked on his door. "What?"he growled, licking rasberry ink off the page where he had misspelled a word."I-it's a young wolf named Minaha, and I've got a gift for you."she squeaked. He stormed up the basement stairs to the door.
Chapter Two
He opened the door, and a rather beautiful wolf in rags looked up at him.A small, pink box wrapped with blue silk was in front of her. However, he had a furry heart, and the gift did not appease him."Thank you,"he muttered, kicking the gift inside,"Now get lost."Minaha squealed in delight, and ran away. Seth locked the door, and wondered why Minaha had acted so happy when he'd insulted her dignity. Girls were weird. Instead of opening the gift, though, he hid it in a broom closet and forgot about it for years.
The alphas were tired of Seth as he begged them to become an alpha. Once he gave up, they cursed him to be always pursed by phantoms. Every day, he would wake up to phantoms knocking on the window, and he'd have to defeat them, only for them to return the next day. He tired, and yet they didn't give up.Soon, he was close to death. Now, weeks later, he puffed as he fought. Blood oozed from his wounds, and a phantom closed in for a death blow to the neck. However, a shadow streaked between them and took the blow"NO!"A dying Minaha dropped to the ground, and the phantoms drank her blood, and left for good.
Chapter Three
"Why???"he screeched, as Minaha wheezed. "I bullied you, why did you do that?!?"Minaha sighed, and weakly looked into his eyes. Her eyes were storm gray."Y-you are special."she sighed."Before you commit suicide, tell Jamaa about the land of Corax. I'll die in peace."Without a proper goodbye, milky substance covered her eyes.He ran into his house, and pulled out the gift. Seth tore it open, and a tail feather was inside. The coppery feather of Mira. Minaha had loved him, and even risked an anceint curse for him, and he abused that. He ran, and did as he was told.

The Phantom King
The phantom king has been defeated more than once by the alphas by tearing him apart, but he always is pieced together by his goons.Keep an eye out for a large phantom...and here is some of the few biographies made about this tyrant.
The Phantom Monster is a large phantom shown in the Animal Jam video, "Return of the Alphas." It was a large phantoms that may have been the king of the Phantoms, but met it's demise when the Alphas attacked it's body.Who knows when this king will finally be defeated by a hero?
Zios
Zios is the skyfather, and soulmate of Mira A profuse amount of information about him is a mystery. As for his appearence: the Zios Fountain, Gem Ball next to Mira Says, the long running rug in the second room of the Chamber of Knowledge, and the severed statue at the heart of the Temple of Zios all view him as a Sun with three apertures [The eyes and mouth]. It was shown in "The return of the Alphas" he was a mysterious creature destroyed by the Phantoms and possibly the deceased Phantom monster. However, some interviews with the alphas state that the phantom monster was the phantom king, and the phantom king is Apophis...
Could this be Zios's forme of when he was alive?
Mira's Short Biography
Mira is the Sky Mother of Jamaa, according to Lisa's log.Even though her feathers are turquiose, she is called the grey heron for unknown reason.Traces of her spirit are found in the township statue, and in the forest fire pit.
Mira was invovled in many of the Jamaasian legends, including in the rise of the phantoms. She was created by Zios when he became lonely, and felt that he needed more help in creating Jamaa.Later, the phantoms were created from Mira's tears, when Zios mysteriously left.
Epilouge
Mira started to weep, and Lisa tried to comfort her, but she started bawling. Sir Gilbert lay in shock, wondering why he had to kill Zios. The alphas took him back to the hut and gave him hot chocolate, but they never relied on him again. When Lisa came back, her face was worried, and told them about how the dark energy that Mira wept became odd one-eyed creatures, with varying amounts of legs. They soon fought a desperate war against these creatures, as they were phantoms. They appeared as "new" to the Jammers because they had worked in secrecy for many years, and they finally got enough energy to appear just when the animals made a last stand. Most of the alphas went to find and destroy the phantoms, while Lisa and Amelia stayed behind to help the newer Jammers. As for Mira and Zios, they retreated into the heavens once Mira had died to avenge Amelia. And if you're wondering how Amelia appeared as an Alpha before she really became one? They made a clone of her, then used it before Amelia came back.
Mira, the Sky Mother, was heartbroken after she lost
her companion spirit, Zios, the Sky Father. Her feelings of sadness and anger
fell to the ground as whisps of black fog, a dark substance that comes from the
fabric of time. These 'tears' of Mira's spirit mixed with the elements of Jamaa
and formed the dark mysterious phantoms that haunt this land today. Due to the
sadness and anger that they were created from, the phantoms' only goal is to
bring chaos and destruction to Jamaa.

The Beginnning
by Animal Jam
And so it was that the Sky Father was named Zios. He created many stars and planets, and set them in motion. But after eons of creation, he became lonely. So he created the Sky Mother, a grey heron, and named her Mira.
Mira was beautiful and kind and they were very happy together. She loved Zios deeply and often told him how talented he was, encouraging him to create. Together, Zios and Mira created their masterpiece: a lush land filled with oceans, mountains, meadows, and all kinds of plants and animals. They named this special world Jamaa, and for hundreds of years, the world and its animals were at peace.
But today, all is not well in Jamaa. A mysterious dark force has crept into the land, stealing away animals and ruining the beauty of Jamaa. Only you can help save the animals and restore the world to its glory. Please help, for you are Jamaa's only hope.
by Amy Jiao(AJ)
The animals banged hammers, and brought in baskets full of jewels glittering in the bright sun. They were building a tall and allmighty statue of their king, Zios, and they were almost finished after three years of hard work. They had finished Mira's statue a decade earlier, and the king had requested his own statue. That was before he had been corrupted
You see, he once had hiked all the way into the Forgotten valley, where all the spirit stones were stored.Nobody, except for the alphas and the gods, could acess the valley without being ambushed by sleeping spirits, and die fighting. But after he had come back, he had been greedy, demanding that his statue become more and more mighty. Now, Jamaa was poverty-striken, and the workers could barely feed their own families, since more workers were being taken from the fields to work on the statue. However, nobody fought back, since they all feared the king of the Cosmos.Only Sir Gilbert dared such a thing. "Why can't we just mutiny?"he would demand Mira and Lisa whenever the alphas met. "I agree,"Amelia always said, growling under her breath, but again and again Greely would shush her. "Because my husband is a good deity, and he must just want to make Jamaa not look weak."Mira would say. "But we DO look weak if we keep on working on a mere statue!" he would argue, and that was quite sensible, but nobody wanted to see the wrath of Zios. Many moons passed, and yet Zios didn't stop demanding.Soon, even the alphas were struggling to feed themselves. "We have to do something!"Gilbert shouted. "Do what?"Peck asked, painting her belly turquiose."Let Zios destroy Jamaa?" "Well, that's inevitable if we all keep this up."Gilbert argued, sensibly.Since he was a great tactician and warrior, they finally gave in. They huddled around him to listen to his plan.
The day when the statue was supposed to be finished, the alphas went into the township to see Zios at Mira's statue. The ruins were far below the bamboo forest, since Mira had put this ledge onto Jamaa township as a tribute to her. There, the floating mask of Zios waited for them, his eyes pitch black. Pitch black? Everyone knew that Zios's eyes weren't pitch black, they were blue. Something was terribly wrong. He had been displayed as a monkey in his temple, since that was his true form (his mask is the only thing safe for a mortal to look at, since his body is pure fire),even though Zios had stated before that his form irked him.But whatever you believe is what it is, as mythology goes."Have you come to recieve new orders?"he growled. "I want my statue decorated with gold leaf!""Sir, we have already done that."Lisa said, her tone stern. "In fact, your people are suffering poverty as we speak." "LIES! Sacrifice the ones that suffer most at the feet of my statue and let their suffering blood spill to feed me!"Lisa, Mira and the other alphas looked shocked. "But they're your people!"Mira cried. "Stop it!" "They are NOT my people if they suffer when I am showering them with justice!""You call killing animals JUSTICE?!?"Sir Gilbert leapt onto Zios's back."You're nothing but pure shadow!"A serpent of evil emerged from Zios's mouth, and the mask collasped. The black muck was alien material, but the African alphas seemed to recognize it."Apophis!"they shouted all at once. The shadow cackled."Yes, chiefs, I have been squeezed into nothing but shadow, and have possesed your beloved king! Once this lady here does her part-"He slithered toward Mira, but she zapped him with electricity-"I shall have an almighty form, and a wife!Muahahahahahahahahaha!"Cosmo went over to Zios to perform nature magic, while the other alphas tried every spell, jinx and charm they could muster to destroy the shadow, but it seemed immune to everything. The shadow crept back inside Zios, and shook off a yelping Cosmo. Sir Gilbert growled, determined to prove himself to the alphas. They never brought him along on quests that invovled rescuing or helping Jammers, since he had scared Amelia out of her mind.He wanted to make himself accepted."I shall destroy you, shadow!"he shouted, and clawed out part of the shadow through an eye.Zios started to awaken from his sleep inside his body, and acted very confused."Sir Gilbert, why are you attacking me..?"he said in a small voice, but he didn't have the strength to fight back, and Gilbert was determined to kill the shadow. They fought for many days, since Zios had many lives, but even after the shadow left Gilbert still pummeled Zios, to "make sure that Apophis isn't hiding."Soon, Zios lay dying on the floor, ichor spilled everywhere.Cosmo worked furiously to make sure that Zios survived, while the other alphas held Sir Gilbert back. After a few minutes of stitching up Zios, Cosmo mouthed three words: He cannot survive.

The epilogue
By Amy Jiao(as all the stories here are)
The four chiefs rose out of their bodies, but before they could go into the depths of the Duat a stronger breeze swept them miles away from Mother Africa. They landed in a hut,and they materialized in a room themed like the savvanah, with four beds sized just for them.A panda and a grey heron awaited them expectantly."Otto, you were a great hero."the grey heron told Otto, then turned to the three other chiefs."You were arrogant in the battle, but helped Moko in the end.I shall reward you all by making you alphas of this haven for animals, Jamaa.Follow me,you have much to learn.By the way,I am Mira, Mother Sky, and this is the chief alpha, Lisa."Otto and the others had no idea what she was talking about, but they followed her anyway.

Otto's Final Battle
Chapter One
Otto had no idea that what Ruby said could make all the tribes want to fight the others, but Apophis must've been around, because the battle was chaotic.Giraffes smacked rhinos on the head, rhinos charged elephants, elephants treaded on crocodiles, and crocodiles bit giraffes.Otto took some of Moko's powers and calmed his tribe, but Apophis's influence was too strong to fully overcome. He spotted his bestfriend Kokopellan try to stop a rhino from barreling over a giraffe, but he intercepted the blow instead."Kokopellan!"he cried sadly."R-remember my sacrifice to stop Ruby from killing Edmund."Otto realized that if Kokopellan hadn't intercepted the charge, Edmund and the giraffe tribe would've gone FLUSH. Amilky substance covered Kokopellan's eyes, and Otto did a quick battle funeral his father had taught him. Now, the battle was getting worse. Blood stained the oasis, and dead animals lay on the ground everyone."So many dead..."he whimpered. Then rage overcame him.Why did Apophis had to sacrifice so many minions to take over Africa?!?Why did he have to kill Kokopellan, a good warrior?!?He was lifted up as he was united with Moko's body completley, and his mermories flowed into Moko's as two streams of memories united. He had summoned a battle avatar to calm everyone and find Apophis.
Chapter Two
Everyone was suprised when they saw his combat avatar, and kneeled.Nobody hesitated to pay their respects to the image of Moko.Even the fierce chief Ruby kneeled, and stopped fighting."Apophis is rising!"he shouted, and his voice was amplified."Brisingr!"A fire helephant appeared next to him,and lifted up all of the tribes easily."We must head north to the sea, then battle Apophis."It didn't take long, since helephants can step a mile at a time, and they set the tribes down at the sea.At first, nothing happened, but then the sea began to bubble. A yellow eye appeared below the surface, then a grey serpent spiraled out of the water untill it was as tall as Mount Everest, and that was only 1/4 of his height.Otto noticed that Apophis was crafted out of foul thoughts, and every time somebody in Africa thought a foul thought,he grew an inch taller.Apophis flicked his tongue, and Otto saw that it was crafted out of blood from the oasis."CHHAAAARGE!"Otto ordered the tribes. They reluctantly dove into the Duat, a sea of magic lands underneath the real world, and whacked Apophis in different layers of it.Otto battled the head of Apophis in the real world as it was weakened by battling others in the Duat.
Chapter Three
He charged the head, then when it tried to spit acid on him,he flipped over it's head and drove his spear into Apophis's head, then landed on the sea.He stood on the water as Apophis blindly turned around, looking for him.Otto knew that he had shut some nerves down in his head,as nerves and ichor poured from the wound.Eww.He shot an arrow into Apophis's mouth as it turned toward him,but he forgot to shift position to make sure that the serpent didn't sense him.Apophis leered, then spit some dark energy onto Otto. The avatar protected him,but he grew weaker, especially since moving in the avatar was like moving with a mattress glued to his back. "AI-YAH!"he shouted as he dove below the surface. It took a while, but he found Apophis's tail,a fluffy point with a poisonous thorn. He grabbed the tail, careful to avoid the thorn, then started wrapping it around Apophis.Apophis must've realzied what Moko was up to, since he started to thrash and pull Moko onto land, but he was determined to finish the job. After what was like six tiring hours, he finally tied Apophis into a knot, and threw him into the sky.The other chiefs popped out of the Duat, and he used his energy to make them custom battle avatars."Thanks, man!"Ruby said as she watched the Apophis knot fly out of sight. But then, the knot fell back down, and Apophis hissed."That was foolish, young hero."Apophis glared at Edmund, and he was blasted backward. He did the same to Ruby, then Cornelius, untill only Otto was left.Anger welled up inside him."You #$%$#@#$$% serpent!"he shouted at Apophis. The serpent leered at him.
Chapter Four
Otto should've been worried, but he was angry at Apophis for shrugging off his allies."I SHALL PUMMEL YOU, STUPID SERPENT OF CHAOS!"Otto shouted."AAAAAAH!"He summoned all of his spirit, and stomped on Apophis. The other chiefs joined in,devoting as much life force as they had.Apophis screamed, and dissipated. However, the struggle was enough to shatter them.Their tribes gathered to gather their pieces as the great chiefs died to restore order. However, they did not die, as they became alphas. Cornelius's Tribe
Chapter One
Cornelius made sure that everyone was in the large tank Twolegs had left behind, put some"oil" on the wheels, and whipped the demons to take them to the Oasis. It sounded like it was something in a fairy tale, but they even rose up to travel on the clouds.Birds soared past them, and the crocodiles either fished or sunbathed on the land portion of the tank.It was luxury, and the demons were tethered to the cart, and they coouldn't break free unless Cornelius wanted them to.He thought that it would be a trip through heaven, before the plane came. The large bird was huge up close, and Cornelius wondered why Twolegs needed such a big bird to get around. But then,it dove toward them, not noticing the cart."Faster!"Cornelius shouted. The demons didn't need to be reminded, and shot up to warp speed. The plane dove through the clouds an inch away, and they slowed down to conserve energy.By now they could see the Libya border, which meant that they were swerving far too northwest."Swerve right!"Cornelius ordered them. The demons careened down toward the oasis just at the Libya border.A little too fast."Slow down!"he ordered the demons, but they were out of control now. They crashed into the water, spilling non-native fish everywhere.
Chapter Two
The crocodiles managed to swim up to the surface, but the demons were now only stone slabs, and the tank was in pieces at the bottom of the oasis,so their only transportation home was destroyed. The other chiefs looked at them skeptically, and saw that their carriages were a little more reliable, and still intact."Did I just see the crocodile tribe fall out of heaven?"Edmund squeaked nervously, and all the other tribes laughed, except for Cornelius's.Otto raised his trunk high above Edmund's head, and all the other tribes were silenced."We are holding a council to unite all the tribes, and this would be disrespectful.A greater danger is arising while we have fought aimlessly, and everything Moko fought for could be destroyed if we don't act.The name of the danger is..."Otto didn't have to finish his sentence, because everyone knew,as far as Cornelius was aware.Apophis."Lies!"Ruby shouted, and her tribe took up the chant."This IS the worst danger,as far as I am concerned. The other tribes are stealing our grass, which means they want us to shrivel up and die! This means WAR!"The tribes charged at each other, yelling insults.Otto tried to stop them, but it was tto late. The tribes were intent on killing each other.

Edmund's Story
Chapter One
Edmund looked at the trees.Blood.At the ground.Blood.Even at his giraffes.Blood.After the rhinos invaded, everything was caked in blood, mostly giraffes'.All his warriors were in critical condition, and he wasn't much better. There was a wound where Ruby had stabbed him,a cast in a broken leg where she had charged him, splints in his neck where she had thrown a stick at him,and blood pouring from embarrasing spots on his body. Some of his warriors couldn't be healed even by the best herbs the tribe healers had,so they were left to the vultures. But most needed healing only by using uncommon herbs, which wasn't too hard since they had a lot of new healers join last spring, which meant more herb-gathering patrols. The younger giraffes that didn't fight were cleaning the blood off the trees so that it was safe to eat,and the even younger ones disenfected many wounds while clamping dead leaves over their mouths.Everyone in the tribe was pitching in to clean up,and even the elders held a council to discuss new battle tactics.Edmund just had to give directions to his tribemates, which wasn't too hard since his father had experienced a lot of fights with rhinos.Every time Edmund asked him about the other tribes,he would tell him about the humble elephants, the proud rhinos, and the sly crocodiles. All the chiefs were selected by Moko, which meant they had to be heroes and also children of the current chiefs."Edmund!"a firewood gatherer shouted to him."Does the central fire in the commons need kindling,or all sorts of wood?"Edmund glanced at the commons."Just kindling,Oke."he told the small giraffe, and sighed. Some of the trees were being cut down by Twolegs, but other trees were alos being cut down, and Edmund suspected that the crocodiles were doing that, because they were talking about making a dam so that their little ones had a place to safely play.Edmund saw reason in that, but why did they have to take away their food?He was convcinced, since he saw Cornelius chewing down a tree last night. Now Cornelius owed him a proper explanation!
Chapter Two
Two weeks later...
Edmund rallied his warriors as they prepared for war. They were going to invade the crocodile island, and make them sorry for stealing their trees. The crocodile tribe also owed them an explanation!"Giraffes,to me!"he would shout every mile they marched, making sure that everyone was with him.Soon, the raging rapids of the river appeared, and they marched even further."Woo-ah,wooah!"the crocodiles bathing in the shallow end cried in alarm, and crocodiles dressed in armor popped out of the water and out of pits, clearlysunbathing while waiting for orders."Giraffes, attack!"he shouted, and the giraffes charged at th crocodiles.Even though they were clumsy herbivores, they knew how to attack crocodiles. When they nipped at them, they swerve to avoid them and struck them with their hooves.Soon, the crocodiles were piled in a sloppy heap."Tell me why you are chopping down our trees!"he growled."Your chief was chopping down a tree last night!"A tired crocodile weakly looked up at him and bared his teeth."Weeee do noot know of our chieeef doing such a wreeetched thing,"the crocodile hissed slowly."Heee was ooonly sharpening heez teeeth, and accidentially choppped it doooown.""Take me to Cornelius!"The crocodile reluctantly pointed at a single hut on a large island in the middle of the river. The other crocodiles slept on the ground, which wasn't suprising for lesser beings."Weee have given cleeearance for any giraffffe, but de raaapids are enough to sweeeeep a strong crocodiiiiile away.Good luuuck,Eddddddmund."Edmund waded into the river, determined to get to the island.
Chapter Three
The rapids tugged at Edmund's legs, trying to bring him down into the waters of despair and failure. But he didn't try to give in,instead he fought."Yoour journey eez hopeless..."the naiads whispered in his ears.He didn't believe them.Soon,he reached the hut,and avoided a few rocks meant as traps, with one weakening demon binded to each.A few mini streams flowed around the hut as a place to safely drink, but he easily hopped over them.As he opened the hut door,he saw that there was a hole in the sod roof, meant for the chief to sunbathe in,and a diving pool. The pool was filled with fish and rocks, sand and rivergrass and watercress, just so that the chief could fish in the comforts of home.Cornelius sat in a dark corner, playing in sand, when he noticed Edmund, and nearly got buried by the living sand."W-what are you doing here?"Cornelius stuttered, blowing sand off one of his scabs from being trampled by Ruby."You have to explain why you are chewing down the trees my tribe uses for food every day."he said in a stern voice."I have caught you red-pawed!"Cornelius stared at him in disgust."The tree I chewed down was just to complete the dam,and it was dying anyway. If you think that we are chewing down ALL your trees, then the Twolegs must be costing us more turf than we realized."Then a blue macaw flew in,a letter in it's talons."Sir,"it said."we must gather all the chiefs to the oasis in Egypt, for a meeting.Moko will punish your tribe if you do not come.-Otto."Cornelius muttered to himself, and he realized that Otto had sent a letter to them just when Edmund and Cornelius were in the same spot."We must go."they said at the same time."This could be a way to right things out,or destroy everything we've ever worked for."
