(This is a random story, just a tale about Harper and Cosmo brewing tea. Boring, but some of the remarks are kind of funny. As usual, Peck is big brat. Join this blog if you like my stories!)
"Really?"Cosmo cried when Peck pied him.
"Although this pie is quite delicious."He licked the tinsel on his face, then chased Peck around until he yanked her tail ribbons. She went down on the tile laughing. Harper sighed, and brewed some tea for herself as she watched through her bedroom doorway.
"That brat of a bunny needs some tea."she muttered, and lifted a two-hundred pound weight before smearing on some face paint. As usual, Cosmo overheard her.
"Did you say the T-word...?" Cosmo asked her slyly. Harper nodded reluctantly. She recognized his tone of voice, he was brainstorming. Harper rolled her eyes, then told him the truth. Cosmo's eyes sparkled.
"Let's play a prank!"he whispered in Harper's ear.
"No deadly nightshades, Mira disapproves of that, but maybe we could hide a energy drain potion in the tea."she whispered back, sensing his thoughts. They snuck into Cosmo's room so that Peck didn't suspect anything.
"Uh duh."Cosmo groaned as he dropped to the floor.
"De dloor ez coldddd." Harper looked at the white tea he had just gurgled. The cup looked innocently back at her, only a few specks of white tea leaf and spearmint visible in the brew. Blocking energy drains with magic wards, she drank the tea. The taste was wonderful, with hints of honey and spearmint to behold. If she wasn't a master of power and control, she would've fainted from the taste alone. Cosmo got up, and smiled.
"This potion is ready for the stage,"he said with a wide grin. Harper lifted up the table of elm wood, set it down, and smeared on more face paint. She looked at the eucaptlyus(is that even spelled correctly?) trees and various healing plants, and vials of dangerous potions hidden in the trees, before heading into Peck's room.
Peck's room was a dirt burrow, a room themed like a rabbit burrow. Roots that led to nowhere pierced the ceiling, and the ground was paper, splattered with paint. Peck's hammock was disposable, a paper one that she could doodle on for late-night ideas. The table was neat, with unfinished work in one stack and projects ready for display in another. Despite the weight of all her pencils, brushes, markers, crayons, charcoal, paper and projects, the paper table held. Many firefly lanterns hung from the ceiling, swinging back and forth in a rhythm even an owl would feel sleepy looking at.
"Peck!"she shouted at a bunny dancing to some rap tunes blaring on a wooden stereo, paintings of rap singers on it. The music was too loud.
Harper turned the volume dial down with psychic powers, then yelled again.
"PECK!" she shouted. Peck paused her CD.
"Jeez, grumps, I'm listening."Peck muttered.
Harper held out a cup of the tea. "Have some tea, it will inspire you."she said. Peck drank the tea reluctantly, savoring the taste after a few sips. Since the process took a while, Harper looked at the walls. Paintings that were less than flawless were taped to the hardened sod walls, and next to the wall were some colored sand sacks and bowls. Her magic easel was at the far end of the room, and a paper closet full of rebel outfits was next to the doorway, where Cosmo peeked in.
"W-where is my energy?"Peck muttered, as she dropped to the floor.
"I learned my lesson when my mural washed off the canyon wall, and I did pie Cosmo, but that was a small prank!" Harper and Cosmo both laughed as Peck sobbed. Peck stopped sobbing, and her energy returned.
"What was that for?!"she demanded as the other alpha's sides nearly burst with laughter. She was not taking this lightly.
"Peck, we just wanted revenge!"Harper laughed, spitting on the floor.
"No harm done, you are welcome to pie Harper! It was her idea!"Cosmo said. Peck watched them open-mouthed, and shook her head.
"Nah, I'll get you back later, I want to paint a portrait of Marco and Harper kissing."Peck said calmly. Harper was fuming at that last remark. "Where did you get a photo of that?!"she demanded, in a whisper. Peck laughed, and showed her a high-resolution photo of Marco and Harper smooching on the peak of Mt. Shiveer, a cloud shaped like a heart in the distance, near the sunset.
"You are SO going to die, brat!"Harper screeched using telepathy. Peck laughed, and was chased all over Jamaa as she tried to retrieve the photo and rip it to shreds, bewildering quite a few Jammers. As for Cosmo, he sighed and went back to napping in his hammock, dreaming of his candy shop and apothecary, dreaming his way into both to run his businesses.

The Appo berry
(By the way, for the haters out there, I've changed the settings. Your hate comments will be removed. Please, only comment if you have something good to say. Complaints are not allowed anywhere, only nice suggestions like what stories I should do.)
Cosmo kept Sir Gilbert under the blankets, and sang a few healing songs to make the sleep less pernament. He slid some berries for good dreams into his mouth, then left to see Marco.
He opened the door, and sat on his bed as Marco searched the Jamaasian archives.
"Any information about a cure for Apophis's curse?"he asked Marco. Marco shook his head.
"Not yet, all the scrolls I've found are on phantom curses, not African deity curses." Cosmo sighed, and ate some oranges in boredom.
"Can I see the scrolls on phantom breeding?" he asked Marco.
"Sure."he said."Mostly just thinking foul thoughts to create new spawn. Nothing special." Cosmo read the scrolls, reread them, read them upside down or sideways as he waited for a hit.
After a few days of searching with no sleep, no food, no drink or even bathroom breaks, Marco smiled.
"Got it!"he said, holding up a scratched book. Cosmo grabbed it, and read the contents. It was a book that was one of Cosmo's textbooks, with all the herbs listed, but somebody had scrawled in a different berry, one that looked like a furry, green tomato. The handwriting was neat, so Cosmo had no probelm reading it.
The Appo Berry
Native:Yes.
Rarity: Ultra ultra rare.
Appearance: Furry, skinny and green tomato.
Description:
The Appo berry can cure any ailment, even a deity's curse, unlike the best potions. They were brought here when meteors still dared to rain on the earth, and were planted around Mt. Shiveer. Most, however, were discovered by phantoms and eaten. The only one left is somewhere deep in the Forgotten Valley, somewhere underwater...
Cosmo slapped the book shut.
"I've got it!"he exclaimed. Marco smiled.
"We should send Harper and Amelia."Marco said."They are good at extracting underwater plants."
"Do we haveta go? Amelia whined."I was kicking the toothed mushrooms silly in my Mario Bros. game." Harper glared at her.
"What would Chorus say if she saw you now?"she whispered harshly.Amelia looked embarrassed. Greely opened a portal for them to go through, and kept it up as they put supplies in their waterproof messenger bags.
"Don't stop for anything."Peck whispered in their ears."I'm no brainiac, but I think that the phantoms would do anything to keep the curse up." They nodded, and stepped through the portal. They were on the same island Lisa had discovered the Timestones, because that was as far as portals could go in the Forgotten Valley. Amelia donned her scuba gear.
"Ready?"Harper asked her.
"Ready when you are."Amelia replied. She regretted her decision, because Harper dove right away. Easy for her.
Amelia dove, and descended into pristine water full of odd fish. River grass floated all around her, and Amelia couldn't help but admire the fish.
"Concentrate!"Harper yelled at her. Amelia dove, determined to get away from that yell. Harper usually spoke in telepathy and whispers, but her yell could break glass. She dove past stream squids, animated skeletons, specters of the drowned, and humongofrogs. Soon, she saw the bottom sediment, and landed on it, then scoured the sand. No plant.

"The Appo berry is over there." a voice said from the sand, and the sand formed an arrow pointing toward the left.
A phantom rose from the sand, and tried to have her go left.
"Trust me."it said. From Amelia's experience, you could never trust a phantom. She started a battle.Peck said that she shouldn't stop for anything, but Harper could look, she could get rid of the phantom. Amelia lunged, and sawed off the phantom's arm. The phantom tried to zap her, but she dodged. She cut out the phantom's eye, but got electrocuted.
"I am the scout who hosted Apophis! You cannot kill me!"the phantom said. Amelia smashed his body, and he disintegrated. The dust pointed to the right.
"Thank you, dust."Amelia muttered. She swam over, and saw Harper pluck the Appo berry.
"Ready to go?"she asked Harper. Harper nodded. Amelia used all her willpower to open a portal, and they went back to the hut in triumph.
Cosmo poured the Appo berry paste into Sir Gilbert's mouth, and his eyes flew open.
"What did I miss?"he asked Cosmo.Cosmo chuckled.
"Everything,"he said, and told him what happened. When he was done, Sir Gilbert looked stunned.
"A phantom rising from the dirt! How peculiar!"he said."When Mira binded the phantom queen, she also cast a spell to forbid phantom ground travel. If a phantom touches the ground, it gets consumed, and the spirit is used to help Mira rise from her statue. We must investigate."
After that, Sir Gilbert walked out of Cosmo's bedroom door, and prepared some quests to research Apophis's power.
The End of the Beginning...

The End of the Beginning...
Sir Gilbert's Curse, Part Two
The alphas invisibly pushed all the Jammers into the golden ring, and left Sophia there to keep order. Greely cast spells protecting the Jammers and preventing escape, and Graham uttered a single word to lock all the Jammer's dens just to protect their rares and valuables from phantom plunderers. Harper froze all of Jamaa, including the uncharted lands, to prevent the fire phantoms from gaining an advantage, and Ruby stomped the snow down for easy movement, which would aid only the alphas, for phantoms are aerial creatures. Edmund searched the tall places for hidden Jammers, and Otto pushing boulders onto the entrances into Jamaa. Cornelius made sure all the sea Jammers were safe by pushing them in the gaze of the seahorse statue(the gaze casts a protective force field).Sir Gilbert drew some battle lines, and Cosmo gave everyone Odawalla smoothies. Lisa led the defenders. Now, it was time to destroy the heat completely
"Freeze."Harper whispered, and the heat froze, flaming phantoms frozen inside. Then, they cranked the heat up, and got out of their cages. The battle was starting.
"Get ready, foolish alphas!" a small, normal phantom scout cried. All the alphas arrived, then the phantoms charged, if that was possible.
"Brisingr!" one would shout, and blue fire would be thrown at any alpha, but they would summon water and destroy a phantom. The battle moved from the township, to Appondale, to the Forgotten valley, to Mt. Shiveer, to Sarperia Forest, to Coral Canyons, to Crystal Sands, and then the lost Temple Of Zios, but the battle was always on the Jamaasian side. However, what bound the phantoms was that they feared Greely, and would not touch him, so he many a chance to hack them apart with black mist.
"Appear, tide!"Peck said as she finished painting a picture of the tide on her easel in the back, and the battle stopped. Then, the phantoms laughed.
"You are not one who can summon the spunky element of water, Peck, no matter how much it understands yo-" The laughter was cut short by water washing onto the phantoms, first calmly, then angrily, then as mad as a tsunami. The water ate the phantoms, but bended around the alphas to keep them dry. The water only spared the scout, who flew away angrily.
"WE DID IT!"Sir Gilbert roared in triumph, but then something weird happened. The same scout turned, and black tendrils of net came out of it's arms. Every tendril seemed to pay close attention to Sir Gilbert, and wrapped around him until he was only a black mummy of black mist. He screamed, then the tendrils fell, and he was in a deep sleep, like temporary death.Cosmo ran over to him, and tried every sleep spell he knew, but the curse was persistent.
"It is not over."the scout hissed, and his eye became serpentine. "I am a host of Apophis, and he wants to deliver a certain message." Now, the phantom flew away, and was replaced by a serpent so long his tail was dipping in the sea at the uncharted edge of Jamaa, which was pretty long. Apophis must've been smaller when the African alphas fought him, because they looked scared.
"You alphas are very silly, and I see that you have not found your hero yet."he hissed, which caused an earthquake. His yellow eyes flickered with hatred.
"Your time is nearly up, as most of Jamaa already has been converted into a modern world. If your hero never comes, what will you do? It is never too late to surrender. This land is lush, and would do well as an appetizer to my hunger for worlds. I want to return the world back to an endless sea, the way Jamaa was before Mira and Zios created the First World, Jamaa!"Apophis stared down at the alphas he could easily crush.
"You're crazy."Otto muttered."Ma'at is balance, not domination of evil or good. We still have evil in our world, but good keeps it in check, while evil keeps us in check."
Apophis looked amused."Very well, my little Moko, but you are a dumb one. The wise thing is to surrender." The serpent dissolved into ice shards, and the alphas were left to unfreeze Jamaa, let the Jammers out, find a cure for Sir Gilbert's sleep, and discuss the future of Jamaa.(The Spears Of Jamaa story was their prediction, although if we unite and defeat the evil, we can save Jamaa. We are Jamaa's only hope.)

Sir Gilbert's Curse
It was another normal day in Jamaa. Jammers walked around Jamaa, a few clans met in the woods, and everyone was slapping on sunblock. Why? Because there was a small heatwave, of course! The alphas walked along the beach, invisibility cloaks on, sipping some of Cosmo's lemonade, all the lemons from his garden. However, the phantoms were planning another attack under Zios's statue, when all of Jamaa was on summer vacation.
"Marco beat the hell out of us when we nearly destroyed Jamaa!"one phantom groaned, his arm still in a sling.
"But now they're on vacation, so they won't have time to respond!"the phantom queen said, kicking a pebble. The phantoms nodded.
"That's why I summoned the fire phantoms to make a gentle heatwave, because they can use the heat to slip inside Jamaasian borders."the phantom king added.
A phantom scout raised his arm.
"YES?"the phantom queen roared.
"The Jammers don't believe in Jamaasian culture anymore, they believe in rare items and roleplaying."the scout said timidly. The phantom queen's eye formed a smile shape, which was the phantom version of a grin.
"Then they'll have no idea what is happening, and scatter!"she said."You shall be able to attack!"
The scout beamed proudly, and his friends glared at him with jealousy. To be able to attack in a secret mission was a golden trophy for any phantom.
"We must get our fire troopers ready."she ordered her generals.
"Yes, ma'am." they said, like perfect minions. The blazing phantoms appeared, and the little scout joined them proudly.
"Let's get snapping."the phantom king said next to her, and the phantoms became the blazing heat.
Harper shivered, and the alphas stopped throwing around a Zios themed beach ball.
"What's wrong?"Lisa asked her.
"The air is cold...as if the phantoms are coming..."she whispered, then fainted. Marco caught her, and carried her onto the beach. Cosmo sniffed the air, and frowned.
"The plants here aren't responding to my precense that much anymore... something is wrong. They're hiding from their guardian."he muttered. Lisa couldn't help but admire his determined look.Greely sniffed the air, too.
"I smell evil darkness somewhere nearby, the phantoms are here."he said, in a gruff voice. Graham stared at the air with his steampunk goggles, turned a crank a bit, then yelped. The alphas stared at him.
"Have you lost it, Graham?"Peck chuckled."Your ideas of molding all the steel below the Temple of Zios must be scaring you."
"P-phantoms@!"he yelped."@... all around Jamaa! They're traveling by heat wave!!" Graham was always correct, and even though his ideas of square roots and fractions were confusing, and his idea of getting something done was quite different, the alphas trusted him. Sir Gilbert and Greely both looked like they were brainstorming a brilliant plan, then looked at each other, and realized they were doing the same thing, and proceeded to strangle each other. Lisa splashed over to them, trying to break up the fight. Amelia looked aggravated.
"STOP!"she yelled at both Gilbert and her boyfriend. Greely looked confused.
"You're not doing anything! For once, make a plan together and get rid of your rivalry! Otherwise, the phantoms could steal away all the Jammers, and we would have to rebuild."she told them. Suprisingly, her charmspeak worked, and Lisa glared at her in jealousy. Amelia stuck her tongue out at her. All the other alphas knew that both Greely and Sir Gilbert loved her, so they would die to listen to her, but Lisa was too angry to consider that. Marco, meanwhile was brainstorming with no interruptions, while Cosmo walked over to Harper to heal her.
"Guys, I've got a plan."Marco said, readjusting his paper sailor's hat. The alphas huddled close, all except for Harper, to listen to his plan.

Peck's Adventure
Peck was annoyed that the other alphas babied her like this when they kept her in her tent because she was "reckless", while they had fun excavating pots that she could paint to perfection. Peck even tried painting a portal to the dig site, but Greely had apparently disabled all magic portals out of the tent. Peck cussed, then suddenly got an idea. Even though she believed in recklessness, she brainstormed her idea.
"RUBY!"she shouted at the top of her lungs. Her favorite rhino charged in.
"Peck!"she exclaimed." Wanna skydive in Graham's flying squirrel suits?"
Peck grinned from ear to ear, which was a big grin even for her.
"Ready when the time comes."
That night, when even Greely was too lazy to keep the boundaries around Peck's tent up, the two alphas snuck out, which was a big feat for a clumsy one like Ruby. She would trample on cacti, almost hit a rock, and once even crushed a scorpion family, getting the stingers stuck in her skin. Peck had to gag her to not blow their cover. They got to the edge of Coral Canyons, and a few Jammer joggers that were insane and never slept pointed at them excitedly. The two got into their suits, which were enchanted to fit the wearer. Greely's department.
"If only Cosmo could talk some sense into the cacti."Ruby muttered as she was ungagged.
"Maybe I could sing them a melody, if the stakes weren't so high that Lisa would hear me." Peck whispered. Clambering into their suits was silent after that.
Soon, they were ready. Peck zipped the last zipper on, then took a deep breath. Ruby did the same.
"Geromino!" they shouted at the same time, and leaped. Every breeze affected their flying squirrel flight, which meant Peck had to concentrate to keep herself aloft.
"Keep going!"she shouted when Ruby looked so scared that she could've lost focus and became a rhino pancake. The red earth and cacti approached rapidly, but Peck decided to go to a different part of the canyon instead.
"Drop!"Peck commanded. They dropped like stone toward the sandy riverbank, just beyond the Epic Wonders pool. Peck landed like a cat, but Ruby wasn't so lucky. She dropped right in a snake nest, and she came out with snake bite marks.
"Let's sneak back before Sir Gilbert awakens to find our tents empty." Ruby whispered to Peck.
But before they could tiptoe anywhere, Mira dropped from the sky, still a spirit.
"You have done wrong, Peck and Ruby. I shall guide you to camp."she said sternly.
"Peck, you could've killed Ruby. Shame on you."
Peck wasn't sure if it was some godly power, but she felt ashamed. She could've killed her BFF, Ruby, who was the only one who understand her. Peck stared at the ground, like a dunce regretting his ways.
Mira grabbed both of them in her talons, which were amazingly warm and soft. Peck dozed off for a minute, even.
They arrived at the camp just as the dawn crept slowly on the horizon. The alphas were huddled around the campfire, talking worriedly about their absence. When they saw Mira, they rejoiced.
"Peck, you shouldn't have used my suits!" Graham scolded her, eyeing her purple suit angrily. Peck laughed.
"Well, what would you think if I had thought of snowboarding down the canyon with a cactus?"she said.
Graham's eyes widened, and nodded. He turned around, and started picking at the burned content of his marshmallow. When Mira flew away, Harper started scolding her in a stream of telepathy thoughts, but Peck was drawing Pikachus and Keldeos in her mind. She loved Pokemon, those drawings, especially of Zekrom, were so detailed that she tried to copy them. Peck sat down at the fire with Ruby, casting their suits somewhere behind Graham, and listened in embarrassment as the other Alphas, including the most serious, sang a campfire song about Peck's foolishness. Peck decided that painting pots in her tent might not be so bad after all, after watching her own friends bury her in a grave of shame.
The Timestones of the Cats
The lion, Arctic Wolf, and Snow Leopard spirit stones are reserved for those who purchase them. However, they do have spirit stones, but they did not come in the best condition, and have no alpha who stands for them. Here is how Lisa found them...
Timestone
by Amy Jiao
Lisa stepped through Amelia's Gate, the link between Appondale and the valley beyond. Trudging up the hill, she stopped at a river to refill her canteen. Bones of foxes lay everywhere, which Lisa tried to avoid. She was out to find the lost spirit stones, called Timestones for how long they had been lost, for they were the first cast out of the mountain and the first to be stolen. Lisa trudged into the lush valley, and waved away the fog. Nothing. She scanned the grass for any stones. Nothing.
"Where are you, Timestones?"she called out. A phantom dove down from the sky, and ensnared her in a net of dark energy.
"Foolish alpha, I have the Timestones, and will not give them up without a fight! I swear on my eye!"
the phantom cried with no mouth. Lisa zapped it, but the phantom didn't even wince, and laughed like a maniac.
"You are more arrogant than lil' Peck, hot one."the phantom said, and Lisa thought she saw some love in it's eye. Then, the pupil turned cold again.Lisa managed to wriggle free, and swam across the river, and climbed onto an island in the river. She piled some rocks up, and jumped on top. Concentrating, she put her paws near her chest in a prayer mode, and laid her cane against the stack. As she chanted runes to protect herself, the phantom was summoning animal spirits to assist him.
"Get that panda!"he snarled at them. The spirits lunged, but shattered against Lisa's barrier. Animal spirits weren't strong without a host animal to fuse with, so they simply returned to the stone.
"Brisingr." Lisa said, and a wisp ignited in front of her. She used her concentration to move the Timestones aside before she launched the wisp at the phantom. It burned, and slipped out with a type three burn. The phantom launched a red laser at her from it's eye, and it burned a hole through her barrier, hitting her belly. Lisa plunged into the water.
"I'm dying."she thought as immortality trickled away from her. Lisa hit the pebbles, and had enough breath to summon her combat avatar, and retrieved her cane in the process.
"Syah!"she yelped as she burst out of the water. The phantom looked shocked.
"For Mira and Zios!"she shouted before stomping on the phantom. When she lifted her paw, there was only a pile of dust. Another one of the Phantom King's painless warlords, flattened like flapjacks.
The combat avatar shrunk, and she picked up the three Timestones.
"Let's hope that these aren't like the ram spirit stone."she muttered. The stones were slightly cracked, however weren't very bad. At least the spirits coming from the stones had been strong-willed! Lisa barely kept her barrier up when they pelted her like hailstones. Mira flapped down from the sky at that moment.
"Good job."she told Lisa."You have found the Timestones. However, it has been decided that no alpha will be chosen for these animals, as they are all endangered and the Arctic wolf not even present in the world of Twolegs. Let's go."
Lisa let the talons of Mira close around her shoulders as they went back to the hut.

Part 3
Greely wept, touching Shade's face and licking her soiled pelt. Her eyes were anguished, as if she was in a nightmare currently.
"She is in a permanent coma, and cannot be normally awoken."Zios's voice spoke in his mind.
"Go away!"he cried to nobody in particular. The connection was sliced in anger.Greely mixed all the ingredients, and hesitated when he was going to slip Shade inside the crystal vial.
"Good night."he whispered in her ear. Shade was sucked into the vial as he corked it.He used magic to shake it, for he had no thumbs, and then concentrated, tapping into his magic reserves, for it takes much mana to summon a primary element. The fire inside the cosmos above him twisted, but had no choice but to bend to his will. Greely directed the fire toward the vial.
"Brisingr."
Fire struck the vial, but some hit the carpet, and lit it. He summoned water, but that wasn't enough. Green mist rose from the fire. He had summoned Greek Fire, a substance Lisa had banned for it's dangerous uses.Shade was revived, but she was still asleep. Fire curled up the room, and burned down the door, spreading into the other rooms.
"NOOOOO!"he shouted as the alphas tried to douse it to protect their rooms.
"It's Greek Fire!"They looked shocked, but looked at Shade's body laid on his back, and knew what had happened.
"We need more plans to defeat these phantoms, you shouldn't have done this!"Cosmo scolded him.
Marco nodded."Very unwise, Greely." For once, Greely felt mad.
" Don't blame me!"he screamed."Zios put her to sleep, and he manipulated me to do this!"
The other alphas, all except for Sir Gilbert, looked like he had just suggested that Mira was an evil creature.
"Zios would never do such a thing." Cornelius snarled."Are you trying to turn us AGAINST Mira?"Greely teleported outside, and so did the other alphas.
"I am not!"he shouted at Cornelius."If you had shut up, I could've banished the Greek fire!"
Cornelius looked like he wanted to strangle Greely, but even a dummy could know that he was right. Cornelius had been harsh, since Zios must've been traumatized by being possessed by Apophis and still couldn't tell what was good or bad.The alphas watched helplessly as the Greek Fire burned their hut to ashes, then rose to the cosmos again with a full belly.
"Do not fear, I shall help you."a familiar voice said. The shimmering spirit of Mira flapped down from the cosmos, making Lisa feel relieved, as Greely knew, as he scanned her mind. The usual wards weren't up, for she was too busy talking to Mira about what happened.
"Greely, you will not be punished, as you had succeeded in something the best sorcerers only dream of. I shall reward you with this potion."Mira said. A potion floated down from the heavens, and poured itself into Shade's mouth. Nothing happened.
"...Of course, she'll awaken in a week, since the spell was pretty strong."Cosmo said. Amelia nuzzled Greely, calming him.Mira flapped her wings, and every tidbit of the hut reassembled.
"Thank you,"all the alphas told Mira before they rebuilt what they lost.
The End of the Beginning...
Part 2
Greely got ready for the biggest spell he would cast in his lifetime, if he failed to bring Shade back. He lay bamboo around him, caught some wisps in the woods for mana, and even prayed to Zios, as he ran the land of the dead now, like Osiris running the Egyptian version of the land of the dead.
" Open Seasame, portal to the dead world!"he chanted. Phantoms rose from his breath, and most disentigrated, leaving four white ones to connect with static, forming a dark void.
"Goodbye, Jamaa. Hello, Vramaa."he muttered as he entered the dead nation, Vramaa.
He started at the river Lix, where lost hopes and dreams, along with phantom spirits, floated in it's yellow waters. Uttering a single word, he constructed a bridge of stars above the stream of acid floating above the stars in an endless void. As he crossed it, the stars tickled his paws, making him feel relaxed, despite being on a floating chunk of Jamaa long gone to the eons. He arrived at the gates built of Shiveerean ice, where spirits of the long lost dead milled about, waiting for the spirits of the three white phantoms, Strike, Free and Dom, to judge there fate.(More on them later.) He walked past the large werewolf Konos with ease, as Konos was his creation to guard the gates of Vramaa.
"Let me through the fields, to find Shade of the Coraxese."he whispered. A gust carried him past the groping dead, past the fields where phantoms tortured foul spirits, past the joyful forests where good spirits played for eternity, past the place of immortals where dryads helped those immortals that chose a mortal fate. He was swept right through the obsidion and sapphire gates of Zios's palace, right into a banquet Zios had.
"Greely?"Zios asked him skeptically.
"Lord Zios!"He tried to drag him out, but some invisible force stopped them.
"I cannot leave Vramaa, since my spirit was anchored here to organize the dead."Zios said simply."Otherwise, wouldn't I have returned long before Mira started weeping?"
Greely smacked himself. He had forgot that Zios was to be forever dead!
"Where is Shade?"he asked the cracked mask that was Zios.
Zios looked heavy with guilt."I-I put her to sleep. She was one of the Coraxese, and doomed you to withdraw from the world even further."he sighed in guilt.Greely's eyes widened.
"NOOOO!" The shade of Shade appeared next to him, a sleeping body suspended in midair.Greely started weeping. Zios sighed, and opened his mouth. A gust blew out, and Greely was in his room.

Greely and the Dead
I recently wrote about Shade and Seth, as they are good topics to discuss Greely's shyness and quietness. However, by popular demand, I have continued the saga of Shade and Seth, and this is when Greely ignored his duties to prepare phantom battle plans just for looking for Shade's spirit...
The Dead
~adapted from the Phantom archives~
"Oh, Shade..."Greely looked at the jar containing Shade's heart, pickled and protected by magic. So long ago, she had died, and Mira had sent him her heart as a memoir. He had tried crying over her heart, placing her heart in Seth's body, even throwing it at her grave, but the grip of the land of the dead held her tight. Now, if you don't believe in the land of the dead, stop reading, as this has strong ties with those beliefs, as the title specified. Now, we continue.
"How can I revive you?"he asked her grave, sitting on Seth's nearby grave. But instead of silence, black energy got sucked into the mound, including a few phantoms lurking nearby, and Shade's shade rose, her smile planted firmly on her face.
"Shade!"Greely's kiss passed through her shade, and he fell. Shade's projection flipped to face him, and she hugged him, although it only felt like a gentle breeze to him despite his link to dark mythology.
"Greely, turn back before it's too late." Shade warned him. "Not doing so will result in an attempt to reverse fate that will result in your end."
Greely stared at her sturbbonly.
Shade nodded reluctantly, and chanted the spell to revive her. Greely quickly pulled some paper and a mechanical pencil out of the Duat, and jotted down the phantom glyphs coming out of her mouth. Then, she dissipeared, and the crickets chirped nervously as black energy was blasted out of the grave, although Greely didn't notice.
To cast spell...
1. Get frog hearts.
2. Take a kidney out of a half-Coraxese's belly
3. Get the fresh heart of the animal you wish to revive.
4. Take a bone of Zios.
5. Find a feather of Mira
6. Get the shade of the revivee.
7. Pour all components in a vial, shake, and cast onto floor. Then chant brisingr to set the concotion aflame, reviving the revivee.
Greely had all of them but number two, number one and six. Cosmo would be happy to lend him frog hearts, as he had many for nutritious snacks, and he could take Seth's kidney. He would understand why Greely wanted to bring back his mother. He pulled both out of the Duat, as Otto had taught him to to save time, then hesitated. He needed Shade's shade.

Sophia's Escape
Sophia is a beautiful and kind figure, one that tries to fix the errors of her sassy kin. However, she didn't always try to un-sassy her sisters, and once was the teased of her herd...
Chapter One
"You're soooo childish!"Galine said to Sophia as she strung flowers into her mane.
"I'm not!"she complained."All the he-horses say otherwise, since I'm the only one who can string flowers into my hair."
"Well, then you're born to be a small colt forevar!"Galine was her older sister, but she was rotten, rotten, rotten. Even more rotten than an apple devoured by worms. She pretended to be nice around the mares, but when they were grazing, she would boss Sophia around, telling her to apply more worm blood(horse kind of lipstick) to her lips and more kohl and mascara Twolegs spilled.Tears spilled down her cheeks as she chewed damp-hay the grass-eating monsters had spilled. Then, one of the herd elders turned.
"Galine, why is lil' Sophia crying?"she asked.
"She started up her nonsense about me being a brat, and bit her lip!"Galine lied, quickly chapping off some of Sophia's worm blood.
"Sophia, stop being a brat. Galine is the nicest of the nice.'the elder scolded. Sophia kicked Galine in the face, and Galine fainted.Fire burned in the elder's eyes, but Sophia kicked her too and ran, tears smearing her blush.
Chapter Two
Sophia ran over the hills, kicking aside her herd. The sky darkened as she ran, but the tears in her eyes blotted out everything but the color of the yellow-green grass. Every breeze of misty wind scared her, every niegh of complaint from her kin a spank. Meanwhile, the howl of wolves echoed through the hills in the distance.
"Run!" an elder shouted. All the horses ran, but the wolves drew closer.Only Sophia was far away enough from the wolves to mask her scent, and she drew farther and farther away, drawing on some unknown source of energy. The gold light of an immortal washed over her, and her godparents(her parents had died from a diease when she was two) stopped to gawk, only to be consumed in a wave of barking wolves.
"Help!"she cried. Only winds of fall answered her. Then, the wolves and horses stopped in midmotion, as time froze. A grey shape fell from the sky, and Sophia just had to gawk at the grey heron staring down at her.
Chapter Three
"Hello."the heron said. Her voice was like a chorus of singing birds, but most were simply mockingbirds and scissortails, as Sophia eerily recognized.
"Did you answer my prayer?"she asked the heron, tears stopping midway down her face as a sliver of hope pierced her heart. The heron smiled warmly.
"Yes, I have. Let me reveal what is really going on."The grey heron sqwauked, and the illusions over the wolves faded. Instead, they were sort of cyclops creatures, with varying amount of legs and globs of essence falling off them. Suddenly, the bloody carcasses lying on the grass seemed cursed with the breath of those foul creatures.
"Those dark creatures are called phantoms, and they have went over my land, Jamaa's borders. Come with me, as you will be saved from this miserable fate. There is nothing I can do."Sophia stepped through the portal the heron had just created, as her old life was one that would otherwise end in suicide. Suddenly, instead of barren grassland, she was surrounded by bamboo, and other animals stared at her, then bowed.
"Welcome, Sophia, to Jamaa. You are an Alpha, to compensate for your miserable fate. You are one who is truly gifted, and shouldn't be abused anywhere." they said as she gasped in wonder.
Epilouge
Sophia walked up to them, and started talking. Soon, she was filled in on everything one wanted to know about Jamaa. Mira smiled.
"We have recently discovered a new Horse spirit stone, although we cannot make it public, and just say that we have brought horses to Jamaa, but I decided to find a Horse alpha. However, you must guide your Jamaasian kin toward a wholesome fate. Do you accept your eternal quest?"Sophia hestitated, then nodded. Her herd had died as sassy meanies, so she didn't want other horses to meet their fate."I accept."she whispered, and set out to guide her pupils. However, there is a rumor that Galine slipped through the portal, and is now a famed hacker named solidblue*********...
